About
Wow, where to begin…
I think the first thing you need to know about me is that I read- a lot. Politics, fashion, art, social media, advertising, music, business…you name it, I read it.
I am a May 2009 graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, now Loyola University Maryland, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. In college, I participated in a variety of activities ranging from varsity cheerleading, women’s club lacrosse, campus ministry, service learning, and a lot in between. I talk about Loyola a lot because it’s a great school and I miss it tremendously…not only my friends, but actual class. Yes, I’m a nerd.
I love my friends. Another thing you should know about me is that I’m very loyal. I often talk about my friends a lot, mostly about how much I miss them. But not on here- this is not the place for that.
Now I work for a non-profit organization in Central NJ in the Communications department where my skills in graphic design, website maintenance, and effectively using social media are growing. It is the perfect job for a recent college graduate like myself. Loyola instilled in me a need and yearning to help others, and doing Public Relations and graphic design for a non-profit allows me to do just that. I’ve been working since October 2009- sometimes it feels like a week, sometimes it feels like an eternity. In a good way.
Aside from being a certified news junkie, I live for art, Eagles football, and working out. I love to take pictures but haven’t taken any photography classes. I live in the swamps of Jersey, and of course, I am a devoted Bruce Springsteen fan. I love coffee, chocolate covered macaroons from Wegmans and my favorite fashion designer is BCBGMAXAZRIA. I also have a soft spot for Michael Kors and Christian Louboutin.
Enough about me, though. What about you? What makes you tick? If you see something you agree with here, let me know. If you disagree, let me know as well! I love nothing more than a good debate. See ya!
